• 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3/4 cup mashed banana
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup PASCHA 100% cacao chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup Earth Balance


  1. Place black beans, mashed banana, cane sugar, salt, and baking powder into a blender or a food processor.
  2. Blend until creamy.
  3. Remove black bean mixture and place into a mixing bowl.
  4. Fill a pot with about 3 inches of water and place on medium to high heat.
  5. Place a glass bowl over top of the pot to create a double boiler and add the PASCHA chocolate chips and the Earth Balance.
  6. Heat, stirring continuously until fully melted. Remove from heat.
  7. Add the melted chocolate to the black bean mixture and stir to combine.
  8. Pour cake batter into a parchment lined 8 inch round pan.
  9. Bake at 325 F for 50-60 minutes.
  10. Let set in fridge for at least one hour.
  11. Serve with fresh raspberries.

100% Best Dark Chocolate I've Ever Eaten

I live in a mixed-use community with a "healthy" grocery store right next door. I could easily buy several brands of allergen-free dark chocolate there, and I've tried them all. None compares in taste and texture to Pascha. One mini-bar is a perfect dessert. Just let it melt in your mouth and it lasts as long as it would take to eat a slice of chocolate cake, but without the extra calories!


It's nice to know that this chocolate is sugar-free and organic. However, I prefer the 85%.

Pascha Black Bar

I purchased the Black Bar because of the known health benefits of dark chocolate. The fact that this is 100% organic dark chocolate without sugar makes it even more beneficial. I can not emphasize enough how much I enjoy the taste and consistency of this product. I look forward to eating it every day and enjoying the flavor and knowing that it is providing health benefits as well. I only hope that this product will continue to be available.

Sugar free chocoloate is great!

This sugar-free dark chocolate is so good and smooth that I see no need to buy the darker one with sugar. Please make this chocolate into bags of chips too!
