These berries are native to the Andes. They are sharp and tangy and full of antioxidants. This bar has a simultaneously sweet and tangy sensation - sweet and bitter yet blended with all elements working well together.
The bar is made Bean to Bar at source in Peru - which allows us to use freshly harvested cocoa beans - these beans are not shipped halfway around the world while they age and deteriorate before getting turned into chocolate.
The cocoa in this bar was grown by, and directly sourced from, UTZ certified farmers who implement better farming practices, with respect to people and the planet.
