The Second Chakra: Sacral Chakra

Chakras are energy points within the body that run down the spinal column. Each chakra corresponds with energy centers that are powerhouses to living our best life. Check out our blogs on the Heart Chakra and Root Chakra here.

The Second chakra or orange chakra called the Sacral Chakra is located at the lower belly and inner pelvis. Its primary function is to bring joy and pleasure to life. When the energy in the sacral chakra is free flowing one will have confidence, generosity and feel a true sense of calm, warmth and pure joy. When our sacral chakra is blocked one can feel overwhelmed, fearful with emotional instability and lack of creativity & love of life.

The energy fields of the sacral chakra develop between the ages of 8 and 14. This coincides with the timing when we are just beginning to be introduced to ourselves. This is a time when self-confidence is often tested as we grow from childhood into adulthood. Having this chakra open and flowing helps to feel aligned with your true self. Yoga sequences offer a perfect platform to create the stage for the joyful energy of the sacral chakra to shine through with support from various poses, breath work and intention setting.

Below are a list of the Pascha Chocolate TOP 3 Recommended Yoga Poses to support your Sacral Chakra -

In addition, to yoga movements breath-work plays a huge role in opening up the Sacral Chakra:

Ujjayi breath is helpful to activate the 2nd chakra and is done by keeping your mouth closed and inhaling through the nose and exhaling with the throat constricted making an ocean sound. Continue this breathing pattern for several breaths until a sense of calm is felt.

Last, but not least our vegan pure dark chocolate also supports unblocking of our Sacral Chakra:

Science continues to prove powerful properties in the cocoa bean that support our inner health in many ways, especially our hormones which play a key role in the sacral chakra region of our body. In addition, the sensory experience of chocolate supports an overall awareness in the body engaging all the chakras. Simply by smelling, consciously tasting and chewing pure dark chocolate it activates the chakra energy through the power of the senses.

Pascha Chocolate supports our chakras based on its purity standards. Our cocoa beans come from the foothills of the Andes mountains. We make Pascha Chocolate “Bean to Bar” and “Bean to Chip” at the source, meaning the cacao beans only travel minimally - from the field to a local village to a nearby chocolate factory. The purer the chocolate - the greater the impact to support our chakras and inner health.

Our pure chocolate is vegan, organic, sustainably sourced (Rainforest Alliance), Non-GMO, 1% For The Planet, 100% plant-based, gluten-free and includes keto-friendly options. You can rest assured that Pascha Chocolate offers everything you need to tap the powerful energy of your heart chakra.
