Reinventing the Classics: Vegan Brownie



  1. Take flax seed and water and mix well together to make a flax egg. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F and line square pan with parchment paper.
  3. Melt vegan butter over low heat.
  4. Add melted butter to sugar and mix well.
  5. Next add flax egg, vanilla, cassava flour and cacao powder, mixing well.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Add to lined brownie pan and bake in the oven for approximately 25 minutes.
  8. Remove and let cool before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
