Welcome to Pascha Chocolate
Back in 2012, we set out to create dark chocolate that’s delicious, better for you and kinder to the planet. More than a decade later, with a range of dark chocolate bars and baking chips, our commitment to you, and to the lives of our farmers and the rainforest that make our products possible. This is at the heart of everything we do, just like it was at the start!
What Pascha Stands For.
We're committed to the most natural and ethical production system possible, Pascha is one of the MOST CERTIFIED chocolate companies in the world. We know for sure that it matters, because in the world of chocolate, everything is connected – from the rainforest, to the small family cocoa tree farmers, to the local chocolate factory workers who employ the highest quality standards, to you.

Contributing to the Growing Region
Large scale Deforestation results in the removal of all tree cover to allow for more cocoa trees to be planted. Industrialization has destroyed 80% of the world's forests, and there's an increasing problem in many cocoa growing regions from large-scale deforestation. Without the shade and biodiversity of other tree types around soil, quality is depleted, there is more crop disease and cacao bean quality suffers. Pascha is committed to the most ethically sound and natural farming practices that preserve biodiversity, maintain cacao bean quality and look after the cacao growing regions we source from in a sustainable way. We only buy single-origin, organic, fine aroma Criollo cacao beans from Rainforest Alliance (RFA) farms in Peru. Together, we focused on conserving and improving biodiversity and ensuring livelihoods of the Peruvian people by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behavior.
Less is More
Cacao beans are amazing plants - offering so many unique ingredients from one superfood bean (cacao nibs, cacao paste, cacao butter and chocolate liquor) and of course with huge health benefits (high in polyphenols and improving blood flow, naming two). Pascha Chocolate products are designed around what the cocoa bean provides us, we add very little more.
Each Pascha Chocolate bar and chip is made with only the very finest limited organic ingredients. No emulsifiers (soy lecithin), stabilizers or anything which is remotely artificial and is used by others to control costs. Most of our products have three or less organic ingredients. Everything in our chocolate is highly curated and is only included if it makes the chocolate more delicious.
Sustainable Farming First and Foremost
Our cacao beans travel very minimally, from field to local village to collection point and on to the nearby chocolate factory, where our Bean-to-Bar and Bean-to-Chip chocolate is manufactured and packaged. Buying all the packaging from local Peruvian businesses at scale. And, yes, this manufacturing process means that the cacao beans are fresher and younger when they are made into chocolate.
Pascha's super-certified snacking and baking dark chocolate products are produced entirely in the growing region, from picking Peruvian, organic cacao beans under the canopy of sustainably sourced trees, grown on Rainforest Alliance (RFA) farms. We're committed to leaving as much economic value with our farmers (supporting the growth of their independent businesses) and the surrounding communities as possible.
Arriving At Your Front Door
Shipping chocolate as temperatures rise in the warmer months is not for the faint of heart. Our shipping protocols include various risk-reducing practices like heat mapping, insulated packaging and expedited shipping on orders going to further away destinations. Our customized shipping materials are eco-friendly, non-toxic and produced from sustainable, recycled materials. Once you're done with Pascha's shipping materials, it's certified recyclable, biodegradable, repulpable and also meets most compostable standards.
During the warmer months, Pascha is only shipping on Monday through Wednesday — with a max two-day transit time. While in some cases, customers may have to wait longer, this practice prevents any shipments from getting stuck mid transit or over a weekend. Pascha must arrive in perfect condition for you to enjoy.
And Finally...
Our Pascha Community is THE BEST. A huge thank you for sharing the chocolate ride with us. Happy Snacking, Baking and Sharing. And yes, our warning on all Pascha products...
