🥣 Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Dates (we recommend The Date Lady)
  • ½ bag Pascha No Milk Baking Chips (or 1 bar Pascha Chocolate)
  • Sun butter (or your preferred seed butter)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (per ½ bag of chocolate chips)
  • Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling

👩🍳 How to Make Nut-Free Date Bark

Step 1: Prepare the Dates

Pit the dates if needed. Arrange them on a sheet of parchment paper (sized to fit a cookie tray) but don’t place the parchment on the tray yet.

Step 2: Flatten the Dates

Place another piece of parchment paper on top of the dates and use a rolling pin to flatten them as evenly and thinly as possible. Once flattened, transfer the parchment with dates to a cookie tray and remove the top sheet.

Step 3: Add the Sun Butter

Brush or spoon a thin, even layer of sun butter over the flattened dates.

Step 4: Melt the Chocolate

In a double boiler over medium-low heat, melt Pascha No Milk Baking Chips, stirring constantly until smooth. Stir in the coconut oil and mix well.

Step 5: Assemble & Freeze

Use a basting brush to spread the melted chocolate evenly over the sun butter layer. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and place the tray in the freezer for at least 24 hours to set.

Step 6: Slice & Enjoy

Once frozen solid, remove from the freezer and slice into bark pieces. Keep stored in the freezer for the best texture!
