The First chakra or red chakra represents the root which sits at the base of the spine or groin area. This energy center represents safety, security, grounding, stability in all things. If this energy field is blocked by stress and/or lack of conscious inner self care your overall health & wellness can be jeopardized. The root chakra when not aligned can bring about depression, fear, anxiety with an overall feeling of being lost. This chakra helps us to feel connected to ourselves and the world.

The Second chakra or orange chakra called the Sacral Chakra is located at the lower belly and inner pelvis. Its primary function is to bring joy and pleasure to life. When the energy in the sacral chakra is free flowing one will have confidence, generosity and feel a true sense of calm, warmth and pure joy. When our sacral chakra is blocked one can feel overwhelmed, fearful with emotional instability and lack of creativity & love of life.

The fourth chakra or green chakra represents the heart. This energy center connects us to balance in all things. It brings harmony and self acceptance into play. The heart chakra also opens us to build awareness of Prana or our life force breath. Creating awareness and focus on the heart chakra helps to keep the energy flowing so you can begin to remove any blockages through consciousness that may be preventing us from generating, sustaining and experiencing unconditional love or love without conditions or limits.

The Sixth chakra or purple/Indigo chakra also called the Third Eye or Ajna. Which means 'to perceive' and this chakra is located between your eyebrows. Its primary function is to bring spiritual growth, intuition, and wisdom. When the energy in the Ajna is free flowing one will experience compassion, self-confidence, mental clarity, focus, better sleep patterns and over-all this energy field becomes a portal into a higher consciousness of being.
